Movilidad en la Selva de Concreto


















Creo que lo más importante en cualquier situación es como las cosas nos hacen sentir. Es como los momentos nos hacen reaccionar y en como se integran las experiencias que vivimos. Lo más importante es escucharse a uno mismo. Estar seguro por dentro y confiar en lo que uno cree. Con los incontable puntos de vista que pueden existir, valiosa, es aquella decisión personal con la que resuenas en tu acontecer.

Recuerdo la primera vez que fui a una clase de Yoga - sentí magia, literalmente. La sensación que tuve en mi cuerpo y en mi mente después de esa postura final de la clase, me hizo sentir como ninguna otra práctica o deporte me había hecho sentir antes. El Yoga es una practica milenaria que fue sistematizada 250 A.C. aproximadamente por un ser mitológico de la India llamado: Patanjali, quien era mitad humano y mitad serpiente. El libro -YOGA SUTRAS DE PATANJALI - está dividido en 4 capítulos:

1. Concentración 2.Practica 3. Experiencias 4. Libertad Absoluta

Este libro es una enciclopedia para seguir el camino de la AUTO-REALIZACIÓN. Algunos dicen que fué el primer libro escrito de psicología -psyque: del griego “alma humana”. Aunque claro la Psicología tradicional no piensa así.

Las posturas de Yoga (ASANAS) están diseñadas para crear un cuerpo fuerte y flexible donde podamos estar sentados en meditación cómodos por algún tiempo. Es una practica para la observación de nuestra mente y el despertar de nuestra conciencia.

A la vez los movimientos funcionales son todos aquellos que se sienten natural en el cuerpo y que trabajan para lograr una meta especifica. Desde sentadillas, flexiones y desplantes, hasta el empujar, jalar, correr y hacer torsiones en el cuerpo. Paul Check fue uno de los primeros en aplicar el término de ejercicios funcionales como un método para lograr un cuerpo recuperado de un mal postura o lesión. Movimientos que generan movilidad en nuestros cuerpos para afrontar esta selva de concreto con cuerpo más aptos y movibles.

Creo que hoy en día hay tantas opciones en cuanto a deportes que lo más importante es realmente probar y encontrar lo que mejor resuena con nosotros mismos. Creo personalmente que combinar métodos y disciplinas puede hacernos absorber lo mejor de cada disciplina.

Desde mi punto de vista, combinar una actividad física como los ejercicios funcionales con una disciplina para la auto-realización como es el Yoga, puede ser una combinación MÁGICA. No solamente estaremos ofreciéndole a nuestro cuerpo la actividad física necesaria para mantener los músculos, ligamentos, y tejidos sanos y flexibles. Sino que también estaremos ejercitando nuestra mente y por ende estaremos influyendo positivamente nuestro día a día, creando más congruencia entre lo que queremos lograr y nuestras acciones.

  5. Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said "You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear." She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  7. I was wondering if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

  10. Have you ever thought about including a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and all. Nevertheless just imagine if you added some great images or videos to give your posts more, "pop"! Your content is excellent but with pics and video clips, this blog could definitely be one of the most beneficial in its field. Amazing blog!
